Trading Stocks at New-Highs or New-Lows

Trend is your friend!

Going long with stocks in an up-trend and short-selling stocks in a down-trend will always keep you profitable. An up-trend stock means that it keeps making a serial new highs with minor corrections between any two new highs, and a down-trend stock keeps making new lows.

To increase your profit and reduce risks, it is always better to buy (or short-sell) stocks when they are under those minor consolidations. A typical short term consolidation usually spans about 3 to 10 trading days.

In order for you to track and trade new high/low stocks, our " 52-week High/Low" section allows you to search such stocks for the past 5 days. And you can sort them by either trading dollars (volume * price), or by volume, or by price range.
